Before Your Class
Gather the makeup you already use, clean brushes or sponges, a mirror, tissues, and makeup remover. Review your service-specific preparation instructions for any additional products. If you are unsure what to bring, contact Cyc before class.
Choose a well-lit space with a stable surface. Position your camera so you can see the demonstration and show your face when you want feedback. Charge your device, test Zoom and your internet connection, and keep your confirmation email handy. Check the session time and time zone in your confirmation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you apply my makeup?
No. These are virtual self-application classes. Cyc guides you while you create the look yourself.
Can I join as a beginner?
If you are new to makeup or unsure which look fits your skill level, begin with a consultation. We can discuss your goals and whether a private session or group class suits you.
Do I need a brand-new makeup kit?
Start with what you have and review the preparation instructions for your chosen class. Always reach out and ask before purchasing anything if you are unsure.
What happens after I book?
Keep your confirmation email, verify your session date and time zone, and follow its connection and preparation instructions. If details are missing, email cycthemua@gmail.com before your session.
Are recordings included?
Do not assume a recording or replay is included unless your service description expressly offers it. Ask Cyc before booking if this matters to you. Do not record participants without permission.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
At least 12 hours’ notice is required for a full refund or a rescheduling request. Late cancellations and no-shows are nonrefundable. Free consultations have no cancellation fee. See the full Policies & Terms for details.
